Responsibilities:
-Based in Shenzhen and frequent travel throughout China
-To lead, manage and motivate the Merchandising team to ensure smooth daily operation & production process from development till shipment
-Ensure an effective merchandising value chain which produces goods in good quality standard and make constant punctual delivery.
-Plan & execute the merchandising strategy of the company and costing control
-To co-ordinate effectively with sales & other departments
Requirements:
-Degree holder or equivalent in garment industry or related discipline
-Minimum 5 years related experience in garment merchandising
-Minimum 3 years in managerial level
-Experience & product knowledge of SILK items
-Knowledge of US & Europe markets
-Able to communicate with overseas buyers / local agents
-A good team leader with tactful communication & interpersonal skills
-Strong leadership & problem solving skills, self-driven & proactive
-Excellent planning & organization skills
-Strong negotiating abilities
-Fluent in written & spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese & Mandarin) |
